Turner, J.V., and Townley, L.R. (1994), Groundwater - lake water interactions near Lake Jasper, D'Entrecasteaux National Park, Western Australia. Second half-yearly report to Cable Sands (WA) Pty Ltd for the period November 1993 to May 1994. CSIRO Division of Water Resources, Consultancy Report 94/19, 35pp., June. [Confidential]

Work on the project has continued successfully and no significant impediments to progress were encountered over the six months from November 1993 to May 1994. The purpose of this six monthly progress report is to present a summary of work completed during this period. The report presents advances in our conceptual understanding of the hydrogeology of Lake Jasper and links these to field observations. These advances concern the development of ideas on the mode of formation of Lake Jasper and have a direct bearing on the present-day hydrogeology. More complete data sets on the dynamics of lake level and groundwater level fluctuations, lake and groundwater hydrogeochemistry and stable isotope compositions are presented. A description of various field activities and results is also given.
